My Collaboration with Mickael Jamal

First of all, in teaching
The vocal element corresponds to the presence of a voice in an Oriental song. In teaching Oriental dance, it is essential to know certain songs, especially the lyrics, in order to understand their meaning and interpret them accurately. For more than 18 years, I have been accompanied by my singer, Mickael Jamal, in my classes, workshops, and conferences. The dancer must be able to interpret the vocal as a dominant element of Oriental dance. Mickael Jamal is Lebanese, and with his accent and the accuracy of his interpretations, he remains true and pure, just like me.

On stage
Our duo is in perfect harmony; it’s a real interaction, full of emotions and ecstasy… he sings, I dance, we tell the story through his voice and my body… we are very close both in life and on stage… and the audience loves it…
